When I was approached to review some "romance" products from Ultimate Nights, a party company that markets to women wanting to spice up their romantic and sex lives I was a little unsure of how I could talk about these products without crossing the line.

Once the products arrived, I knew that I was worrying needlessly, as the gift basket that Ultimate Nights sent was really to SET THE MOOD for romance, which was nice for a change. My package contained a basket filled with a natural soy blend candle with grape seed oil in a scent called "Patience", a bottle of Natural Instinct a pheromone-release cologne for both men and women, and a small palm sized personal massager (a purple Zen Massager to be exact). which is supposed to relieve neck tension and muscle soreness.

The Candle - The candle scent was divine! Patience is vanilla and tobacco scented, so it's not TOO sweet. It really set a nice mood that was both feminine and masculine at the same time. I really liked the subtle scent and so did my husband! The candle comes in a beautiful frosted glass jar and burned evenly. At $9.50 - $22 these candles are WORTH THE MONEY.

Natural Instinct cologne - My husband refused to try it out (he's just not into colognes), but I wore it. I found it to be a little too sweet for my taste. It reacts to your own body heat and forms a scent that mimics the sexual attraction associated with pheromones secretion. It's not a cologne that I'd wear out, but for a night "in" it might be okay. These come in two sizes a Dram for $13.50 or 1/3 oz for $17.50.



Zen - This palm sized massager is just the right size for melting stress away. Because it is palm sized and very slick, it glides over your muscles and packs just the right amount of vibration to relax even the most stressed muscles. Priced at $29.00.

Here's the thing. You can order these romance products from the comfort of home, but it would be SO much fun to host a party. With a couple of bottles of wine, a dozen friends and the Ultimate Nights hostess - it would be a night to remember! Plus, Ultimate Nights is always looking for people who want to get paid to party. If you have lots of contacts and enjoy selling via the party plan this would be a fun way to make some money and help couples set the mood for romance!
